Much to my great displeasure, my treasured pair of trackies (a pair of Adidas Superstars in black and pink) have finally blown out their shell top. After seven years of wear, four jobs, and many college functions, it is time to retire my favorite pair of kicks.
After wearing them for so long, I have grown accustomed to their fit and have been trying to find a new pair. It is easy to find the Superstar II. What isn't easy is finding that exact pair of black with the pink stripe. In the pink stripe you could see the classic adidas logo in different shades of pink. It was love at first sight when I first found them, and now I'm going nuts trying to find another pair.
When did it get so hard to find a new pair of shoes? I know this hunt would be much easier if I would settle for another pair of trackies, but I want these trackies, just like the pair I've got now.
I am going out of town for my birthday next Tuesday, so I am going to scour the Treasure Coast area for a pair, since I can't seem to find them on the internet. I hope I find something.
