[Review] SNP Otter and Dragon Masks

Masking is one of my favorite things in the world, I just don't get to do it much these days with Joey. I try to wait until he is sleeping to mask. It is my me time.

0.8L has come through again with masks that make my skin sing. This time I got to try some masks from SNP, a Korean cosmetics company. They have an entire line of beauty and skincare items, but I was only aware of their various masks.

I got the opportunity to try the Otter and the Dragon.

They are both fantastically soothing. Dragon is made for soothing and Otter for moisture though I do find that even Otter does a great job soothing any sort of irritation.

The Dragon

Dragon is made for soothing. With 750mg of coconut water, licorice, Japanese knotweed, green tea extract, rosemary extract, chestnut extract, and witch hazel it is a soother holy grail.

The mask itself is one of the thickest I've tried. That played really nicely when it came to getting a good fit. Some masks I've tried have been so delicate I've ripped them with my nails. I was easily able to adjust this mask to where I needed it to be without worry of destroying it with my claws.

Another great thing about this mask was the essence.

So. Much. Essence.

I had enough left in the envelope to put on my neck, chest, and shoulders with some left over. That ended up going down my arms and hands.

If I'd had half a mind, and a container, I would have decanted some for later use!

After use, my skin felt so much better. I've been getting lots of sun lately walking outside with Joey, so my skin is a bit irritated. This solved the problem, leaving my skin super hydrated and happy once again.

You can get these at StyleKorean for $1.99USD. Ulta has them as well for the outrageous price of $5.00USD.

The Otter

This is the one I've seen all over the place on Instagram so I was super excited to try it.

The Otter is a total aqua bomb, which I'd totally expect from an otter item!

The essence in this one is slightly thicker than the Dragon, and just as copious! I had so much that I did my usual chest/neck/shoulders routine and had some to spare.

My skin was extremely hydrated after use just fifteen minutes. I would have kept it on longer but the baby woke up and I didn't want to scare him as Otter Mom!

It doesn't really have an odor, so it would be good for those who have an issue with scented products.

You can also purchase this on StyleKorean for a couple of bucks, or overspend at Ulta.

 Overall

While I greatly enjoyed these masks, I won't say that I was blown away or anything. It was a fun experience since the masks have a face on them. They both lived up to their claims, and the masks were nice and thick. Copious amounts of essence. Nice fit. Definitely more positive notes than negative (none, in this case).

I can say that I do prefer the dragon because of the soothing properties, but I wouldn't turn down using the otter again.

So I suppose I give these an ok. Four of five stars.

Thank you very much 0.8L and SNP for allowing me to try these masks.
