Adventures With Sheet Masks

I hadn't done a sheet mask in years. Since I've been ordering from W2beauty.com and Wishtrend, I've gotten several that I've been dying to try, I just didn't know how my new piercing would handle it. This is a mask that I got as a bonus from Alice at W2Beauty.

Last night I said screw it and did it anyway, with a little modification ^^

I used The Saem Snail Essential Gel Mask Sheet. Like an idiot, I forgot to take a picture before I ripped that sucker open to put on my face.

This is a Korean product that offers rich moisture for the skin. It's also got regenerative properties!

This is the first time I've ever had anything with snail essence. I was showing my boyfriend and he had to make the great joke that my face was covered in snail jizz. Pfft.

To use this product, wash your face like usual and apply your toner. After that, apply your mask.

This is what it looks like on. I rolled the nose up instead of pulling it down so it wouldn't get into my piercing. I'm not sure how it would react!

The gel itself feels very smooth, and the mask sticks on very easily. It did feel a little cooling, which was great since it's been so hot lately!

After 20 minutes (it said 20 to 25 on the package), I pulled it off and gently massaged the rest of the gel into my face.

My skin felt great after taking it off and letting the serum dry in a little. For a little extra oomph, I added my Tatcha Moisture Rich Silk Cream because I'm a moisture whore.

I can definitely see a difference in how my skin looks, and it feels very soft. The only side effect is my boyfriend saying snail jizz.

I also have some other snail essence samples that Alice sent me that I can't wait to try. I really like the way my skin feels!

Have you tried anything with snail essence? If you have, what did you think of the experience?

    1. Sheet masks are the best. I like the no mess factor.

This one in particular felt very cooling and nice. My skin was so soft and supple afterward.
