Balm Hoarders Anonymous

My name is Vonnie, and I am a lip balm hoarder.

I have stashes of them everywhere. My bag. My car. My medicine cabinet. My dresser. My computer desk. My computer caddy. In my kitchen. You get the picture.

These are all of the balms I have sitting nearest me at the moment. Most of these are goodies from Christmas, like the striped ones and the Hello Kittty balms. I gave two of the HK to my nieces, but kept the berry flavors for myself because I'm a nut for berry balms and glosses.

This Hard Candy balm, in Bridal Blush, I've had for years. I know that's probably really gross to keep it so long, I just love it that much. It does such a good job moisturizing my lips and it adds just a touch of color. I love a dramatic eye day or night, and a muted lip is always what I pair with it.

My sister gave me this Eos balm for my birthday a few months ago. Eos is one of my absolute favorite brands of balm since it does such a great job making my lips look fabulous, and it tastes good! That is always a thing for me, the little girl inside that used to use the hell out of Lip Smackers.

For the life of me I cannot remember the flavor of this. It's either strawberry or raspberry!

As you can see, I haven't used much of this particular ball of Eos, but I wanted to include a picture for those who aren't familiar with the brand. I love that it's round, it goes on so well, and I like that there is no color. I'm always afraid of colored balms because I throw this stuff on with or without mirror. I don't want to end up looking like a clown!

This balm, for me, is the end all of end all balms. I. Love. Chicken. Poop.

I grabbed this a few months back in Tractor Supply on a whim. I'd always wanted to try it because I was attracted by the ingredients.

Ingredients: avocado oil (Persea Gratissima), beeswax, jojoba oil, lavender essential oil, sweet orange essential oil, Vitamin E

Seriously, does it get any better than that? It smells like a delightful combo of the orange and lavender oils. The only downside is it doesn't taste :( I figured it would at least taste like orange!

Here's a look at the balm itself. No color, all natural. It doesn't feel waxy at all! Of all of the things I've tried, this has been the best balm I've ever used. I really want to try the other products in their line, I just haven't spotted them in stores at all. I might have to order them online!

Now that you know my secret hoard, what products do you hoard?

Tell me all about your collection!

Love and Spoons~

V.
