Today was a really long day. I worked with one of the newbies for the first time today, and he's really damn cool. Rather talkative, and I like that because I'm talkative too. It made our shift go by really fast. Had quite a few customers coming in, regulars, asking for particular things that the owner still hasn't ordered. Knowing Bossman, he will never order the product because most of the items being requested are of no interest to him. It's a shame. What pisses me off is I work in a tobacco shop. My manager (who I often refer to as Sasquach) is slowly turning the place into a head shop. Bossman isn't helping any by ordering more and more items that can be considered paraphernalia. Customers ask me what some products are and I hate that I can't answer because I honestly don't know what most of those things are for. The pipes are self explanatory, but some of the other accessories I have no clue. Drugs aren't my thing so I never paid any attention to what a lot of these accessories are for. The changing image of the shop is turning a lot of our older customers off, and I've noticed our partronage dwindling.
After that I went to a birthday party for a friend's daughter. She's still too young to really understand what was going on, but she enjoyed getting presents. What kid doesn't enjoy that, haha!
Now I've got math assignments to do, and opinion paper to write for Ethics. I have the options of pornography and censorship or abortion. I think I will stick with porn, simply for the fact it's the easier topic to approach using the only theory we've learned so far. Fun times. Maybe I'll do a bit of research XD
I'm not sure if I'm ready for the week ahead, but I'm going to try my best!
